Artists and Lovers Series
I consider this series of sixteen acrylics on canvas to be my most important series. My reasoning comes from its art historical orientation and the psychological influence that lovers and significant others have had on the development of these particular artists' abilities.

Still Lives and Still Lifes
This ambitious series is still ongoing. The sizes vary, but all of the works are done in acrylics on canvas. I taught myself to paint in oils many years ago by setting up simple still lifes in my kitchen. This led to further investigation of the genre.

In the Swim
This series of ten acrylic paintings on canvas was done between 1999 and 2002. As a lap swimmer, I loved observing the behavior and interaction of the other swimmers. I remembered what I saw, went home and made drawings from memory.

Commissions and other works
In general, I work in series, but there have been the occasional moments when certain concepts have come to me seemingly "out of the blue." Being obedient to my muse, I'm in the habit of acting on my rare visions.
